Alexey Padalka, a representative of the Region 26 running club, successfully performed in Novorossiysk on the Markoth-2021 mountain ultra trail. A resident of the Stavropol Territory became the bronze medalist of the tournament.
The athlete came to the finish line third, spending 15 hours 44 minutes 32 seconds to cover the distance. The total climb on the track was 5822 meters.
The weather conditions affected the condition of the track. The jogging trails have become obstructions due to the rain.
The organizers decided to slightly change the already planned routes. Therefore, the declared distances have increased slightly. So, the longest route that Stavropolets crossed was originally planned to be 102 kilometers long, but in the end it added an “extra” kilometer.
