The head of the referee committee of the Russian Football Union Ashot Khachaturyants commented on his decision to meet with referee Mikhail Vilkov, who was suspended from refereeing for life.
“Yes, I agreed to meet with Vilkov. He wrote to me personally, and we made an appointment after April 26th.
I met with him after his first disqualification, discussed the situation, talked about the loss of trust. We will meet again, but this meeting will not change my mind.
Vilkov wants to speak like a man. I don’t know what he meant. I am ready to speak in any format. I don't know what exactly Vilkov means in the concept of "like a man," said Khachaturyants.
